Christmas Day & Snowmobiling

I officially get the worst picture taking award....I feel so bad, everybody has all these cute pictures and I totally slacked. We did video so that made up for it I guess. Anyhow we had a great Christmas and hope everyone else did as well. On Christmas eve we had dinner at my Grandma and Grandpas and then came home to get in our pj's and set out the treats for Santa and the reindeer. Christmas morning we woke up at 7:45 and opened presents and then got ready and headed to Brent and ReNae's for a yummy breakfast...Luckily we dindnt have to go too far because the roads were terrible..no offense Brent. After exchanging presents with cousins we went and had dinner with my family, and watched Chronicles of Narnia. My parents rented a cabin for the weekend and we went snowmobiling and came home on Sunday. We had a blast, the kids had so much fun having a sleep over with everyone! We snowmobiled, and went sledding during the day and watched movies, played cards and drank alot of hot cocoa! And yes, I wrecked a snowmobile :(...I hate playing in the powder. At least it wasnt too bad, and I have an understanding husband who just laughed:). Thank you mom and dad we loved it and had soooo much fun!!

The MAN'S still got IT!

My Dad's birthday was this week and so we celebrated it last night with my family and my parents took us to Cafe Trang for dinner and then the Neil Diamond concert!! Thats right Neil Diamond. It was a really good concert, and we had GREAT seats, my parents were on the floor about 10 rows back and then all of us kids were 11 rows from the floor facing the stage! Hadley was worrying me telling me that he wouldnt be as good in concert as he was a long time ago, but we were all very surprised. He sounded great and he can still move! He sang alot of our favorites including Hadley's; Forever In Blue Jeans, which he was worrying that he wouldnt sing it, and mine, Sweet Caroline along with several others. Sweet Caroline was probably the best everyone stood up and was dancing and singing. Everyone loved it so much he sang the last of it again! He ended on Comin To America, that was awesome as well. I took a few pics, we were able to sneak in the camera but I had to put it away before I got in more trouble, so I didnt get a pic of him!! Thank you Brent and ReNae for taking the kids so we could go out!!
Thanks Mom and Dad it was a BLAST!! Happy Birthday Dad!

It was a lot of fun, we ate dinner visited and did the annual Fullmer talent show, and of course again none of us had a talent to share. I was telling my dad that it is because of all the years he made us do it and play the piano, and we HATED it!! So Sorry to disappoint! :(
It was a lot of fun visiting with everyone since we only get together twice a year!!

Thanksgiving Day!!

On Thanksgiving we were supposed to eat with the Bennett Family this year, but for the first year since I was little we got all of my dads side of the family together for Thanksgiving. It was at my parents house because my Grandma Fullmer has such a hard time walking and having to go up and down the stairs is too hard for her, my dad said that they would do it at their house to make things easier on Grandma. So we ate a delicious turkey dinner with all the fixings, and then my mom bought every individual family their own gingerbread house and we decorated them. We usually do it every year with just my immediate family so it was fun to do it with everyone, Grandpa even got into, using those masonry skills.

Here is Colter getting his early start on learning how to sit in the saddle.

Tried to get a picture of everyone doing their house, but didn't work so good.

Trying to get a Grandpa working on his house, Grandma didn't want to do it, so he had some help from Troy's girls.

Preslie wanted to join in on the fun for a second..she had too much fun playing with all the kids.

Finished Product!!

Hadley gets so into this, he cracks me up, I am basically there to tell him what a great job he is doing. Actually I did come up with the idea for the Candy Cane roof!! This was probably the best one we have done yet, my great grandma Forman wanted to take it home so bad she told us she would buy it from us, because it reminded her of the house she grew up in in Idaho that burned down; she called my dad later that night and was still asking about it, so we took her dinner one night and the house as well so she could have it as a centerpiece, she was thrilled!! Love you Grandma Great Great ( that is what Preslie calls her)!!

Colter's 1st Haircut

My sister in law Cindy has taken her kids to Cookie Cutters to get thier haircut a couple of times so I thought I would give it a try. Preslie just had hers cut not too long ago but Colter needed his shaped up and his front was longer than the rest. It was such a cute fun place, they have abig slide to play on and they can sit in a car and watch a movie while they get thier hair done, and when they are done they get a balloon and a sucker. I didnt get a picture while we were there but this is after we got home. He is so dang cute!! He is getting sooo big he weighed 23lbs and 13oz on Wednesday!!!

The Big Rivalry

My parents have season tickets to the Utes football games and we always have to draw who gets to go with them to the BYU vs Utah game. This year they were in Mequite with Lindsey for a softball tournament and so Me, Hadley and Preslie and my little sister Whitney and her boyfriend Tyler got to go, and my sister Tiffany's father-in-law got them tickets to go so we were all able to go to the game except for my mom, dad and Lindsey. Thanks for being out of town and letting us take the tickets it was such a fun game and Preslie loved it, except for Swoop the Hawk (mascot) he came by our seats and she was teriffied of him, she wouldnt even go to the bathroom because she thought he would be out there. She is so funny!! All I have to say is GO UTES!!

Ok so I just watched Channel 5 news about blogging, and I am going to go private!! So if you like to visit our blog please send me your e-mail or leave a comment with it and I will be sure to add you to my list!! It looks like a lot of us are feeling the same. You just never know!! I will let you know when but hopefully within a week.

Halloween!!

Halloween was a fun and busy day!! Preslie has lately been loving to help cook and so I told her that for Halloween we would make sugar cookie and the only day we had time was on Friday. So we made sugar cookies and she helped with everything and as you can see in the pictures she loved playing with the flour and using food coloring!!! We started out our night stopping Great Grandpa and Grandma Fullmer's house. Then we went to G-pa and G-ma Bennett's house with Shayne and Mandy's Family, Bradyn and Cindy's Family and had dinner and then we went to G-pa and G-ma Fullmer's house...and then FINALLY we came home and went trick or treating with Peyton, and Raylee, after the girls just played all night long!!! It was a lot of fun and the girls had so much fun playing together.

The Annual Fullmer Family Pumpkin Carving!!

Thursday we were all finally able to get together to carve our pumpkins. It was actually a really fun night. Tyler, Whitneys boyfriend is home from his mission and was able to join us. We had yummy Rock Creek Pizza!!! (the buffalo blue chicken, is the best, thx Jae). And then we went and had our pumpkin carving contest, Preslie wanted to do it all by herself and refused to let anybody help her, so we just cut off the top and she colored on the outside, what do you do? Hadley was creative and did the headless horseman, drew it free hand and I was really boring and did pocka dots!! After carving we just sat and visited and Dyson and Preslie sang Halloween songs they learned from preschool and just played around.

Team Sarah

OK so I am sorry if I am driving you crazy, my poor husband. I just joined Team Sarah, in support of Sarah Palin; www.teamsarah.org, this is AWESOME. I have just felt like I need to do something to show my support her and the McCain/Palin ticket, in little old Herriman Utah, and I felt this was an easy and fun way of doing it!! It is free to join and you can talk to and watch people talk about and in support of Sarah Palin. I just think that she is an amazing woman, and a great role model for all women. I think that it is great to see a women run for VP and she is just such a down to earth person. You should at least visit the site and take a look it is amazing how many women and men are on there in support of her, and the McCain/Palin ticket!! GO SARAH!!

McCain-Palin '08

I don't know what has gotten into me this election season, but I have been intensely watching coverage and getting involved. I am constantly listening to Shawn Hannity everyday on 102.7FM, and watching FOXNews. Hadley has been going crazy and cant wait until this all over. I am just so frazzled and want to know why and how Senator Obama has even made it this far and why people don't question his associations. I also am annoyed with the news media and how I believe they are not being fair, slamming Governor Palin. While Senator Biden can talk about the fact that if they are elected into the presidency that he can guarantee that we will be tested internationally and with in the first 6 months; that it may not appear they have made the right decision at first but they will need our support; and that is not on the front page of every news paper, and on the news..WHY??? Does that not scare ANYBODY? You know that if it was said by Governor Palin they would be all over it. Sorry for my venting but I just had to get it out because it is driving me cRaZy. I also think that this election year is really important so please get out and vote, no matter who you are voting for I encourage you to do it.

Sunny SaN FrAnSiScO!!

This last Thrusday I went on a little vacation with my mom and two sisters to San Fransisco. It was so much fun getting away, it was a little hard to leave my kids for the weekend but I needed this little get away really bad. We decided to get away because my little sisters boyfriend Tyler comes home from his mission this Tuesday and she wanted to get away before he got home and she wanted to go to San Fran, we stayed at Fisherman's Wharf. Friday we took a ferry over to Alcatraz prison and took an audio tour which I am really glad we did it was quit interesting, and then we took a trolley car to Union Square right in the city and did some shopping, and ALOT of window shopping!! Saturday we took a double decker tour bus through all of San Fran and across the Golden Gate Bridge and that was really neat. This was my third time to San Fran and this was the most I have seen of the city. We ate alot of great seafood, and everywhere you go they have these frech fries that are AWESOME, the put fresh garlic, parsley, and grated parmesan cheese on them..OOOO...they are so good.
On Thursday we walked along Fisherman's Wharf and down peir 39 to do some shopping. There was a huge sailboat docked at pier 39 that everyone would just stare at and after asking someone about it is actually the WORLDS largest privatley owned sail boat, it was amazing. We never found out who owns it but it was beautiful.
I had so much fun, and it sounds like Hadley, Preslie and Colter did as well and did fine without me.Thanks Had for pushing me to go, and THANKS MOM for taking us it was a BLAST!!

Pumpkin Patch

A couple of weeks ago Grandpa Brent called and wanted to see if we wanted to go to the pumpkin patch on Friday with Peyton, Raylee, Grandma ReNae, Houston and Aunt Cindy. Preslie was SO ExCitEd...we went to the pumpkin patch in Riverton it was so cute they have all different tractors lined up and a ton of pumpkins.

We went to Grandpa and Grandmas house after dance and picked out pumpkins then they took us all to lunch after. The girls had so much fun, they get along so good and I am so excited that they are close in age and that Houston and Colter will be even closer. I always wished that I had cousins that I was really close to, and luckily on both sides of the family they are all close..
Thank you so much Grandpa and Grandma for the fun day!!!

This is Raylee, Grandpa Brent, Preslie, Hallie, Hazen and Peyton. Colter and Houston were asleep and it was really cold so we didnt get them out.

All of the kids loaded in the wheel barrow.
