Team Sarah

OK so I am sorry if I am driving you crazy, my poor husband. I just joined Team Sarah, in support of Sarah Palin; www.teamsarah.org, this is AWESOME. I have just felt like I need to do something to show my support her and the McCain/Palin ticket, in little old Herriman Utah, and I felt this was an easy and fun way of doing it!! It is free to join and you can talk to and watch people talk about and in support of Sarah Palin. I just think that she is an amazing woman, and a great role model for all women. I think that it is great to see a women run for VP and she is just such a down to earth person. You should at least visit the site and take a look it is amazing how many women and men are on there in support of her, and the McCain/Palin ticket!! GO SARAH!!

I don't know what has gotten into me this election season, but I have been intensely watching coverage and getting involved. I am constantly listening to Shawn Hannity everyday on 102.7FM, and watching FOXNews. Hadley has been going crazy and cant wait until this all over. I am just so frazzled and want to know why and how Senator Obama has even made it this far and why people don't question his associations. I also am annoyed with the news media and how I believe they are not being fair, slamming Governor Palin. While Senator Biden can talk about the fact that if they are elected into the presidency that he can guarantee that we will be tested internationally and with in the first 6 months; that it may not appear they have made the right decision at first but they will need our support; and that is not on the front page of every news paper, and on the news..WHY??? Does that not scare ANYBODY? You know that if it was said by Governor Palin they would be all over it. Sorry for my venting but I just had to get it out because it is driving me cRaZy. I also think that this election year is really important so please get out and vote, no matter who you are voting for I encourage you to do it.

Sunny SaN FrAnSiScO!!

This last Thrusday I went on a little vacation with my mom and two sisters to San Fransisco. It was so much fun getting away, it was a little hard to leave my kids for the weekend but I needed this little get away really bad. We decided to get away because my little sisters boyfriend Tyler comes home from his mission this Tuesday and she wanted to get away before he got home and she wanted to go to San Fran, we stayed at Fisherman's Wharf. Friday we took a ferry over to Alcatraz prison and took an audio tour which I am really glad we did it was quit interesting, and then we took a trolley car to Union Square right in the city and did some shopping, and ALOT of window shopping!! Saturday we took a double decker tour bus through all of San Fran and across the Golden Gate Bridge and that was really neat. This was my third time to San Fran and this was the most I have seen of the city. We ate alot of great seafood, and everywhere you go they have these frech fries that are AWESOME, the put fresh garlic, parsley, and grated parmesan cheese on them..OOOO...they are so good.
On Thursday we walked along Fisherman's Wharf and down peir 39 to do some shopping. There was a huge sailboat docked at pier 39 that everyone would just stare at and after asking someone about it is actually the WORLDS largest privatley owned sail boat, it was amazing. We never found out who owns it but it was beautiful.
I had so much fun, and it sounds like Hadley, Preslie and Colter did as well and did fine without me.Thanks Had for pushing me to go, and THANKS MOM for taking us it was a BLAST!!

Pumpkin Patch

A couple of weeks ago Grandpa Brent called and wanted to see if we wanted to go to the pumpkin patch on Friday with Peyton, Raylee, Grandma ReNae, Houston and Aunt Cindy. Preslie was SO ExCitEd...we went to the pumpkin patch in Riverton it was so cute they have all different tractors lined up and a ton of pumpkins.

We went to Grandpa and Grandmas house after dance and picked out pumpkins then they took us all to lunch after. The girls had so much fun, they get along so good and I am so excited that they are close in age and that Houston and Colter will be even closer. I always wished that I had cousins that I was really close to, and luckily on both sides of the family they are all close..

Thank you so much Grandpa and Grandma for the fun day!!!

The unsuccessful duck hunters!!!

This weekend was the opening of the duck hunt. Hadley went out Saturday morning with my dad, and Jake and they got 7 ducks. Hadley wanted to take me out on Saturday night so we found a sitter for the kids. We got all bundled up and took the boat out on the northside of Utah Lake in the pouring rain. I was not looking forward to going out in the pouring rain, but once we got out there it wasnt bad. Hadley found us a little spot, he hasnt hunted this area before...He set out the decoys and then we sat and waited and waited. Hadley kept calling and calling and a flok of 4 ducks started coming and I was thinking I was going to have to shoot and then they turned away and Hadley couldnt call them back in. So around 6:30 we decided to pick up the decoys and head in...No ducks!! It still was actually fun just getting out, but would like to try it again and hopefully shoot a duck.

Preslie got a hold of the camera this weekend while I was on the computer, and I didnt realize she had my camera until I was going through these pictures. She is such a character I couldnt help but laugh!! She is pretty good though.

Feeding the ducks and geese!!!

Preslie and I were getting sick of sitting in the house this past week. I told her that since I was on fall break from school this last week that I would pick her up from school on Thursday and we would go to Wheeler Farm and feed the ducks and see the other animals and just get out of the house. So I picked her up and at first she wasnt happy because she wanted her Grandma Claud to pick her up and then I reminded her abou feeding the ducks and she was excited!!! So we went and got lunch and ate there.

We started out feeding the ducks and geese that where far ,and to the ones who where not in the fenced pond, by the time they realized what we were doing, we were surrounded and Preslie was too scared and took off running before I could get a picture. I have to admit they were a little scary hissing and they wanted food NOW!!

This was more her style!! She fed them a whole loaf of bread!!

Family Pictures

Last Saturday we went up to Butterfield Canyon to have our family picture, and the kids pictures done. Bradyn and Cindy, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, and thier kids Peyton and Houston did thiers as well.

Lindsay Wright took our pictures and they turned out so good, I am so glad that we got them done. I loved them so much I couldnt wait to share just a few of them. I got them off of her blog.
