FiNaLLy......

Wow.....It has been so long since my last post, we have been so busy, with school, Whitney's wedding, Easter, boxing stuff, turkey hunting and just life!! Warning this may be long!
Spring semester has ended and summer just started for me. Hadley is busy with work, thank goodness. They had some slow times but no long term lay offs. He has been hunting everyday and night to try and get his turkey. He also has been Helping his brother coach Preslies T-ball team...I know can you believe it, he even wears a PINK, yes a PINK shirt! :) You are such a GREAT DAD!! Rodeo season has crept up on us, so now we will be busy with that. Preslie graduated from preschool last week and is excited to have the summer off. Her last dance recital is tomorrow and she finishes T-ball this week as well. Colter is a MONSTER, trying to walk, he is so close. He just needs to slow down a little and I think that he would.
Whitney and Tylers wedding was beautiful and everyone looked so cute, it was fun and we are so excited for them!
It was Mom's 50th birthday in March. We decided to do a surprise party, against her wishes! We thought we had it all planned out perfect with mom not knowing and we were all so excited about it! We had it at Noah's and had Morellias cater with great Mexican food. We got there early, decorated and then it was Tiff's job to get her there and thank goodness it was not me because I could not even talk to her face to face with out getting a slight smerk on my face. Once we got her there we were all hiding in the room and she walked in and was NOT surprised, my dad left a paper on his dresser that said Morellias Claudias party, and my mom just couldnt resist then to look through his blackberry and find everything! OH WELL..it was still fun!
After Easter came and went it was time to get ready for The National Golden Gloves Tournament held here is Salt Lake. It was a week long, and we were all there helping out! It was soooo much fun and a great experience to meet the people from all over the country. Hadley, my mom, uncle Brad and I started out by picking them up from the airport Saturday and Sunday and shuttling some of them to their hotels, some of them drove in or rented their own vehicles. It was a long couple days but was very fun to get to meet all the boxers and coaches. Then we attended a banquet on Sunday night to get things started off. Then every night we were there to cheer on our Utah fighters and help. Hadley, Uncle Brad and Tyler helped at the glovers table making sure the boxers had their gloves and then got to clean them off after. Derek thought he was important..:) he was a security guard. Tiff, Whit, Lindsey, Mom, Brenda and her girls and I helped selling T-shirts and helped take some of the judges, referees, coaches and boxers on tours on Wednesday to Kennocott Cooper Mine, and to Gardner's Village and then on Friday to the Olympic park and lunch in Park City!! The only mishap was on Thurs night one of the rings broke and luckily no one was hurt. That was the ring they were going to leave up for the final night, so if had to happen it was the best night for it to. My poor parents were sooo exhausted but they did such a fantastic job, and EVERYONE loved it. Kuddos to MOM and DAD and all of your hard work, I loved every minute of it! I cant wait to do it again! 2012?!
After the tournament was over the next weekend my parents took all of kids to Seattle and watched the RED SOX vs. Mariners game....It was AWESOME!! And the Garlic Fries are to die for mmmm. It was so exciting and we had terrific seats in left field by the foul line and we were only 15 rows up!! I was like a little kid, I was so excited. Hadley does NOT like the Red Sox so of course he had to buy a Mariners shirt before the game and wear it with his White Sox hat....the Red Sox won... :) We did a tour of the city the morning before the game, and Sunday during the day. Seattle was so pretty and we loved being down at Pikes Market, it was so much fun to experience and all of the beautiful trees, there are trees everywhere...loved Seattle, I would love to go back and spend a little more time. Then we flew home late on Sunday ! Thanks again Mom and Dad it was so much fun! I love being able to do that with the family.
Now we both drew turkey tags along with my Dad, Brad, and Kade so hopefully we will get one! Sorry this was sooooo long, I will try and update more often! :)

  1. You all look so cute at the ball game. Hunter is a Red Sox fan already and was so upset to be a "Wankee" (Yankee) this year in baseball!

What a busy month it has been. Your parents did do an awesome job and it was all so much fun!
