This winter we broke down and bought Preslie a new horse. We had been looking since last fall, and then didn't look as hard until after we went to a Little Buckaroo Rodeo..we decided that she could use a new horse instead of the pony. We looked that same weekend and looked at a couple of them on Sunday but just didn't find anything that really were a "kids" horse. Sunday night we got on KSL and saw this palomino for sale. I talked to the girl the next morning and he sounded like he would be a good match for Preslie. We couldn't get out to see him until that Thursday and she wouldn't let anyone else look at him until we did. Thursday we hooked on the trailer just in case and headed down to Milford. Once we got there Hadley and Preslie rode him...of course Preslie loved him because he was a palomino. We talked with her about what he had done and she told us to take him and try out and if we weren't happy for whatever reason that we could bring him back and they would give us our money back. That made me feel really good. We brought him home and Preslie has been riding him,and feels more and more comfortable on him every day!! She did a Buckaroo Rodeo, and started riding club a coupe weeks ago and has been riding him two to three days a week.

Chrsitmas Recital
Goose hunting...
This post is for Hadley and Kade. They took Skyler, and Tate to Idaho for a weekend and had a GREAT time...I personally don't understand it, maybe someday I will like to go lay in the freezing cold, and wait for some birds to come.

Another year of school
Preslie's birthday is July 19th, and we couldn't decide whether to hold her back,or let her go to kindergarten. The more people we talked to about it and the more we weighed the pro's and con's we finally decided that we would hold her back. We put her in a different pre-school, Learning Dynamics, she goes three days a week and they started reading and simple math. She has done so well, and has really excelled.

Family Fishing Day....
After Hadley got home from Alasaka he was on the count down for duck season, so we had to take the boat out for a little fishing trip to make sure that it was running good. We went on a Sunday afternoon down to Utah Lake and fished for about an hour...as long as the kids would last!

Alaska with the boy's.....
My dad took all three son-in-laws to Alaska last August, he also invited all their dad's to come go with them. Our family friend took his two boy's, son-in-law, and his dad. They all had so much fun together!! When we picked them up from the airport, Hadley was grinning from ear to ear, and the whole drive home he would not quit talking...if you know Hadley, that never happens. They fished, fished, had some bear encounters and fished. He still is talking about it to this day, and can't wait to go back.
