Alaska with the boy's.....

My dad took all three son-in-laws to Alaska last August, he also invited all their dad's to come go with them. Our family friend took his two boy's, son-in-law, and his dad. They all had so much fun together!! When we picked them up from the airport, Hadley was grinning from ear to ear, and the whole drive home he would not quit talking...if you know Hadley, that never happens. They fished, fished, had some bear encounters and fished. He still is talking about it to this day, and can't wait to go back.

*Flying into Gustavos, on the puddle jumper*

*Hadley caught a really rare salmon...had to put it back*

*Just a FEW of they fish they caught on the river*

*Bear coming to feed, as they are leaving the river*

*I think he smells all the fish ;)*

*This big boy was in their camp*

*First day fishing on the river. The next they ALL had to fish the river*

*Hadley was alone with a backpack of salmon when this guy came on the river bank. Hadley slowly moved from one side of the river to the other*

* He is standing in the exact spot Hadley was fishing*

Slowly but surley....

Ok...I am going to attempt the daunting task of updating our family blog...wish me luck! This may take hopefully only a few weeks..but, as I look back at what I haven't posted about this may take a little longer than anticipated..LOL!!! I am going to try and get this caught up as much as possible before I go MIA....trying to study for the DAT!!

I found this, and just laughed because this is what I look like studying before a big exam, and only wish I could run an IV of coffee..LOL!!

Blog....What?!

I have not posted anything in SO long that I about for got that I even had a blog....Haha :) This last semester was really busy, as is this, but I am trying to be better and get some updates on here.

Last semester went really good, and fast. This semester is a HUGE semester for me. I am taking 16 credit hours and studying to prepare to take the DAT (Dental Admissions Test) in May. May 22nd to be exact....EEEEEK!! It seems like this was never going to come, but I will be applying in June. I am very excited, and very nervous.

Hadley has been busy with work, thank goodness. He is planning on hitting the rodeo's this year, just the ones close by. He was going through with-drawls last year, as well as the kids. We love going to the rodeo's and watching Hadley, and being in that environment. It will be fun and the kids will LOVE it!! He only wishes we could afford for him to really rodeo....maybe one day ;)

Preslie has been busy with school, dance and riding...a little. She did a lot of horse shows last year, and she LoVeD it and did so good. She can't wait until we are riding almost every night again. Preslie is going to start the kids riding club this April and can't wait to do it with all of her cousins and friends. She is doing so good in school and in dance also. She is growing up so much...I can't believe it.

Colter...where do I start with Colter..haha! He is such a character, and a little monster. I think we are getting Hadley's pay back. He is very busy and loves playing with his trucks, tractors, and guns. He loves riding and thinks that he is SO big. He has to ride a "big" horse, and refuses to ride the little pony. He is very particular about what he wears. Lately he has to wear "cowboy pants", along with a long sleeved button up shirt, and it HAS to be long sleeved and button up, or he will not wear it, and just lately he wont wear the shirt if it's wrinkly, he wears his boots everywhere, and we DO NOT leave the house without his hat.

They are so much fun, and growing up so fast. We would have such a boring life with out these two characters.

I will try and get some pics up soon. Hope everyone is doing great and having a GREAT 2011 !!

San Diego.....

This last week my mom took, my sisters and I to San Diego for a girls trip. My Dad is taking the boys to Alaska next week and offered to send us on a girls trip :) Thanks so much mom and dad it was a great relaxing vacation...that was exactly what I needed after last semester. We flew out Monday morning, after we got there and to our hotel we went and had lunch, bought some groceries for snacking and b-fast, then drove to La Jolla, shopped, got pedicures and had dinner!! Tuesday we went to Disneyland....I know w/o kids...I couldn't tell them I was going, and actually didn't want to go,but it was a lot of fun. My mom got us reservations @ Club 33, a private club, there are not a lot of members....so thanks to my moms friend who has connections we were able to eat there. This was my second time eating there...the first was a few years ago and we had Preslie with us...she was 2, it was so stressful all you could think and worry about was her breaking a nice piece of china...this time was much more relaxing and enjoyable. After lunch we walked around some more, and went on a few rides. After getting there and seeing how crowded it was,I was glad that my kids weren't with me. I think everyone was trying to fit in their summer vacation be fore school started. Wednesday we spent the day at the beach and then drove into Old Town for some Mexican food and shopping. Thursday we drove to La Jolla for lunch and then went to San Diego Zoo...that place puts Hogle Zoo to shame, you need atleast two days to see it all..very nice. Friday we spent at the beach again and then went on a ferry across the bay and went to a Luau, that was a lot of fun. We came home Saturday!! It was a lot of fun to spend time with my mom and sisters!! Thanks Again :) I wasnt great about taking pics..

Life's a Beach....

Finally I had a break from school so a couple of Friday's ago it was our friends daughter's b-day and they invited us to go to the Herriman beach for a couple hours with Tana and the kids, & Cindy,Peyton and Houston. It was a lot of fun, and not too crowded!! The kids had a blast playing with each other like always! Thanks again Tana for the invite :)

Fullmer Grandkid Pics....

Here are the grand kids pictures, they turned out SO cute...Thanks again Evonne we love you!!

Family Pics....

About a month ago we did our family pics, and did pics of the grandkids for my parents....As you can imagine trying to take a 2yr old picture in 94 degree weather and in the late afternoon, and then causing mom (me) stressing about trying to make it perfect....we had a rough time getting all the pictures we wanted...but thanks to Evonne and her patients waiting for Colter to cooperate, we did get some!! Thanks again you are so awesome :) Here are just a few of my favorites!!

Hogel Zoo...

For Preslie's b-day we decided to take the kids to the zoo,and then went and had lunch at Guadalahonky's with Jake, Tana, Hallie and Hazen. We went early to try and avoid the heat and the rush. The kids had a lot fun..and it's always fun to see the baby animals. Thanks Jake and Tana for going with us..we had a ton of fun!!

Horse Show...FiNaLLy

We finally made it to a horse show for Preslie this year. Silver Spur's put on a horse show at Riverton arena...Preslie did the walk and trot and won a medal...she was SO excited. She also did speed barrels, Poles and Barrels. She did so good and is starting to get her confidence built back up...for some reason this year she acted like she had never been on a horse, but she is doing much better the more and more we ride!! Colter was a little menace and thought it was fun to take off running all around the horses..this kid has NO fear...so thanks to G-ma Claud and Papa Larry...they saved us and Colter from a REALLY long night. He ended up going to their house, riding the 4-wheelers, helping dad put water on the pasture, and taking the dogs swimming in the canal..he was in heaven!! Thanks again mom & dad for helping us out with the kids so much!!

Preslie's Birthday.....

What better way to celebrate a birthday, than to celebrate ALL month long. Thats what we did for Preslie's birthday!! We started out the month by celebrating Preslie and Dyson's birthday with my family...then it was her actual b-day and we had a little party with just us. The next weekend was time to celebrate with Hadley's family. I promised her that this year she could have a friends party....so we ended the month with that. She had A LOT of fun and got spoiled. Thank you to all of our families and friends for celebrating this special day(s) with us!!
*I am horrible and lost some pics of the friends party...and cant find them on the computer*
